Acne

Acne is a common skin condition that occurs when hair follicles become clogged with oil (sebum), dead skin cells, and bacteria. It frequently affects teenagers due to hormonal changes but can also occur in adults. Acne may appear as blackheads, whiteheads, papules, pustules, nodules, or cysts, mainly on the face, chest, shoulders, and back.
Hormonal imbalance, excess sebum production, stress, poor diet, and genetic factors can contribute to acne development. In severe cases, acne may lead to scarring and pigmentation.
At Oasis: A Unani Clinic, we focus on balancing hormones, purifying the blood, and reducing skin inflammation with Hijama Therapy and Herbal Medicines.

Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a chronic autoimmune skin condition that causes rapid buildup of skin cells, leading to thick, red, scaly patches on the skin. These patches, known as plaques, commonly appear on the elbows, knees, scalp, and lower back. The condition occurs when the immune system mistakenly speeds up the skin cell turnover process.
Symptoms include red inflamed patches covered with silvery-white scales, itching, dryness, cracking, and sometimes bleeding. In some cases, patients may also develop joint pain, known as psoriatic arthritis. Triggers can include stress, infections, skin injury, certain medications, or weather changes.
At Oasis: A Unani Clinic, we focus on managing psoriasis through a holistic and individualized approach. Our treatment aims to reduce inflammation, balance the immune response, and improve overall skin health naturally with the help of a Suitable Therapy for Psoriasis and Herbal Medicines. By addressing internal imbalances and lifestyle factors, we help patients achieve long-term control and healthier skin.

Eczema (Atopic Dermatitis)

Eczema, medically known as atopic dermatitis, is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that causes dry, itchy, and inflamed skin. It is commonly seen in children but can affect adults as well. Eczema is often linked to allergies, asthma, or a family history of atopic conditions. The skin barrier becomes weak, leading to moisture loss and increased sensitivity.
Symptoms include redness, itching, rough patches, small fluid-filled blisters, and thickened skin from repeated scratching. Flare-ups may be triggered by allergens, stress, harsh soaps, weather changes, or certain foods.
At Oasis: A Unani Clinic, we aim to soothe irritated skin, reduce inflammation, and strengthen the body’s natural defense system. Our holistic care focuses on identifying triggers, improving internal balance, and promoting healthy skin from within, helping to reduce frequent flare-ups with the help of Hijama or Leech Therapy and Herbal Medicines.

Fungal Infection

Fungal infections of the skin, also known as dermatophytosis or ringworm (tinea), are caused by fungi that grow in warm, moist areas of the body. Common types include athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), ringworm of the body (tinea corporis), and fungal infection of the groin (tinea cruris).
Symptoms include red, itchy, circular rashes with raised borders, peeling skin, and sometimes small blisters. These infections spread through direct contact, contaminated surfaces, or sharing personal items.
At Oasis: A Unani Clinic, we focus on eliminating infection, reducing itching, and preventing recurrence through Herbal Medicines and hygiene guidance. Our holistic approach strengthens the body’s resistance and promotes healthy skin recovery.
